Traditional Japanese Baumkuchen cake (年輪蛋糕) is made by brushing batter on a rotating skewer. Once cooked and sliced, you will see multiple layers (anywhere between 15 and 20, but can reach up to 25), resembling tree rings. Baumkuchen in Japan can have flavors such as green tea, chocolate or even cherry blossom. A soft and tasty cake, great to serve with a hot drink during tea time. Each package contains 8 pieces.
