Our Organic Ceremonial Cacao is a delicacy from the fertile lands of Peru. Containing more than 300 active substances, including phenylethylamine and serotonin, these cocoa beans are the raw base for chocolate production. Native to tropical areas of South America, Theobroma Cacao trees are considered sacred among the Maya and Aztecs. The cocoa beans, hand-picked as pods, are selected for their best quality and fermented to reduce the initial bitterness, ensuring a tasty experience.

How to prepare ceremonial cocoa
Here’s how to make a ceremonial cup of cocoa at home:
- 30gr cocoa
- 150 ml coconut milk or your choice
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, honey, agave (optional)
- Spices: vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, Himalayan salt, 4-5 grains of black pepper from Jamaica (you can put it in a paper bag so as not to filter)
Finely chop the cocoa and add it to a saucepan together with the spices and milk. Cook over low heat but do not bring to the boil. Filter through a very fine strainer or a nut-milk bag, alternatively you can use a paper filter to skip this step. Now the ceremonial cocoa is ready!
