is made from Bulang mountain leaves in 2007. It’s only been made once.
The vendor stored this tea relatively dry causing a little brittle leaves. The initial brew also had a bit of astringency in taste and a bit of tanginess. After the first extended rinsing and first brew, the tea came out ok.
13 years turned the tea deep amber. The broth is clear which is a very good sign.
Tea taste like it’s made from small tree but still had the plantation type of roughness in the middle of the tounge. There is also slight sweet aftertaste. Quite nice qi from this cake. Nothing to complain about the tea body. It’s beginning to taste like an old tea actually.
As the tea thins out after easily 10 brews, there is a hint of smokiness.
