Oolong Shui Xian Tea from Taiwan

Shui Xian Oolong Tea is derived from a type of camellia cultivar that is quite common on Taiwan although, often, when this variety is mentioned, reference is made to the Wuyi Mountains in the Fujian region of China. The reason the Shui Xian cultivar (and some of its descendants) can be found on the island today is related to the migration of Chinese farmers from Fujian who brought some camellias from their area to Taiwan as early as the 1800s.
