Oolong Tea and Osmanthus Flowers is a fragrant combination of low-oxidation oolong tea and fragrant osmanthus flowers. The tea leaves and flowers are blended before being divided into tea bags, so the tea/flower ratio is the same in each tea bag.

The sweet aroma of flowers and dehydrated apricots slowly fades into slightly herbaceous notes, with a smooth finish. This tea comes from Mount Dahei, located in the famous Pu’er province of Yunnan.

Each package contains 15 4-gram sachets, the perfect amount for your infusions.

Tasting – Sight and smell

Oolong and osmanthus flowers tea comes in individual silk pyramid sachets, containing small, low-oxidation oolong tea leaves, forest green in color and balled in shape, and osmanthus flowers, with bright yellow and orange petals. Once infused, the flowers and leaves release floral and fruity aromas of dehydrated apricot, with a fresh, vegetal finish. The liquor is golden yellow with straw hues, very clear and bright.

Tasting Notes

Oolong and osmanthus flower tea has a sweet, floral opening, with hints of honey and fruity notes reminiscent of apricot compote and ripe yellow peaches. There are also hints of almost buttery, vanilla and custard, with a slightly vegetal and umami finish of young grass and chlorophyll. The persistence is long and sweet, with hints of apricot jam and a feeling of freshness that lingers on the palate. Neither bitter nor astringent, this is a creamy, velvety-bodied tea for drinking at all times of the day.

Place of origin

Pu’er, Yunnan, China

You can proceed with an initial 3-minute infusion with water at 85°C and reuse the same leaves to make subsequent infusions, keeping the water at the same temperature, and increasing the previous infusion time by about 20-30 seconds.

This tea allows for about 2-3 infusions.

Our brewing time recommendations can also be slightly adjust by your personal taste in order to obtain a stronger or more delicate cup of tea.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Benefits of Oolong tea
