Organic Orange Honey is a natural excellence, produced in Sicilian citrus groves cultivated with organic or integrated methods. These citrus groves are located in pristine areas surrounded by uncultivated and grazing land, where the predominance of different orange varieties-such as Navelino, Tarocco, Moro, Sanguinello and Valencia-contributes to the unique quality of the honey.
Production areas include:
- Plain of Catania, known for its PGI blood orange.
- Coasts and valleys of the Agrigento area, home of the Riberella, PGI Blonde Orange.
Orange blossom occurs between April and May, with a medium to long period of about 15 to 20 days, during which the flowers spread an intense fragrance, especially in the early morning and spring evenings.
