Traditional ceramic cup of the Gunfu Cha ceremony: it is essential that tea be sipped and enjoyed with small infusions to share. Depth and meaning are the essence of this minimalist yet ornate series. The ceramic is in the middle of heat conduction values, so it is optimal for opening and bringing out the deep flavors of semi-fermented or partially fermented teas, such as Taiwan oolong teas, Tie Guan Yin, wuyi rock oolong teas, and pu’er. With each use you will notice a transformation of this mug, which will gradually gain a glossy patina that embellishes it with time.
Maintenance
As ceramic is a fragile material, we first recommend handling the cup carefully to avoid bumps and falls. We also recommend not washing it with other accessories to keep rubbing against other surfaces to a minimum. Avoid washing it with water that is too hot or too cold, so as to minimize the temperature change, particularly after each infusion. We recommend wiping off dirt with a soft cloth or brush to avoid rubbing damage. Store this cup in a cool place away from intense light sources. Dry it carefully after each use.
