Red (Black) Vanilla Rose Tea is a refined blend of medium strength, made from the precious golden gems of Yunnan, China. This black tea is enriched with authentic Madagascar vanilla pods and scented with Damas rose petals, creating an elegant and enveloping aromatic combination. The combination of these natural ingredients gives the drink a velvety, floral and slightly creamy profile that is perfectly balanced and free of astringent notes.
Origin and Tradition
Yunnan is one of the most celebrated tea-growing regions in China, with a tradition rooted in more than 2,000 years of history. Its biodiversity-rich mountains provide ideal conditions for tea cultivation, thanks to a humid climate and fertile soils. The leaves used for Vanilla Rose Black Tea come from the Yunnan Large Leaf variety, the same variety used to produce the region’s finest pu-erh teas.
After hand-picking, the leaves undergo a careful process involving withering, rolling, fermentation and drying. Afterwards, they are blended with Madagascar vanilla pods and delicate Damas rose petals, which give the tea its distinctive floral fragrance and creamy, enveloping taste.
Aroma and Taste
The brew is clear and bright golden-red in color. The aroma is intense and enveloping, with dominant notes of vanilla and rose. On the palate, Vanilla Rose Black Tea offers a smooth and velvety sensation, with a perfect balance between the sweet notes of vanilla and the floral notes of rose petals. A slight savory hint completes the experience, giving the tea a unique and refined depth.

Brewing method
We strongly recommend infusing this tea in the traditional Chinese method (Gong Fu Cha) with a Gaiwan with a capacity of about 100 ml. Following this brewing technique you can, with 5 grams of leaves, do multiple infusions and have the most complete tasting experience of your tea.
After a quick rinse of the leaves with water at a temperature of 95°C, an initial 10-second infusion can be made, and then, keeping the water at the same temperature, the product can continue to be exploited by adding more to water and increasing the previous infusion time by about 5 seconds (15 – 20 – 25…).
In order to have a more traditional brew in the Western style we suggest to steep 3 grams of leaves (about 2 teaspoons) for one minute and an half, using water at a temperature of 95°C in a mug with an approximate capacity of 150 ml.
For a better tasting experience we suggest to filter the infuse as close as possible to the proper steeping time indication. The brewing time recommendations, however, can also be slightly adjust by your personal taste in order to obtain a strong or more delicate cup of tea.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
