Sesame Coconut Mochi is a mochi filled with sesame paste and topped with the finest coconut granules. A delicacy from Japan, kirimochi (or mochi) are glutinous rice cakes or sweet rice. They are an established food in Japanese cuisine and culture and are often served to celebrate the New Year.
