The Cocoa Bitter Bar is 100% cocoa, with no added sugar, for use in cooking, as the main ingredient in hot chocolate or for your cocoa ceremonies.

100% Colombian cocoa paste.

How to prepare ceremonial cocoa

Here’s how to make a ceremonial cup of cocoa at home:

• 30gr cocoa
• 150 ml coconut milk or your choice
• 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, honey, agave (optional)
• Spices: vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, Himalayan salt, 4-5 black peppercorns from Jamaica (can be put in paper bag not to filter)

Finely chop the cocoa and add it to a saucepan along with the spices and milk. Cook over low heat but do not bring to a boil. Strain through a very fine strainer or nut-milk bag, alternatively you can use a paper strainer to skip this step. Now the ceremonial cocoa is ready!
