Happy Rising blooming tea is a tea handcrafted in Fujian Province from high-quality Mao Feng white tea and Gonfrena flowers.
Slowly spreading to the bottom of the teapot, this small sphere of tea slowly opens, allowing the vibrant gonfrena flower to emerge at the top, floating in the water as if by magic. The taste is mild and refreshing, fragrant and sweet. One will not only enjoy the delicacy of flavor given by the tea and the flower, but also appreciate the beauty of this unique handcrafted product.
Sight and smell
The tea leaves that make up Happy Rising blooming tea, various shades of green and silvery-white from the numerous bai hao-covered buds, close in a sphere shape around the gonfrena flower, with its many small, bright pink petals. Once infused in water, the flower and leaves open, releasing a delicate and fresh herbal aroma, sweet notes of honey, and slightly fruity notes with hints of wildflowers. The liquor in the cup is a beautiful color between gold and pinkish, clear with bright highlights.
Tasting Notes
On the palate, Happy Rising blooming tea is gentle and balanced: it has sweet notes of honey and beeswax, followed by hints of yellow flowers and notes of unripe pear. There is even a very faint note of leather, almost reminiscent of an extremely delicate puer sheng. On the finish there are very light vegetable notes of spring vegetables such as fresh fava beans, notes that linger softly. The body is light and silky, with no bitterness and barely perceived astringency.

Production of Happy Rising blooming tea
The tea buds, expertly crafted and joined together at the base to embrace the gonfrena flower in the center, are made following the white tea production process. Fresh gonfrena flowers, after harvest, are dehydrated (either naturally in the air or with special machines). The flower must be picked whole and at its best harvest time to benefit from the highest level of aromaticity.
Ingredients: tea, Gonfrena flowers 5%.
