Mixed Marshmallow Mochi, better known in Japan as daikuku mochi, are glutinous rice sweets filled with a soft cream. A truly delicious preparation which in the land of the rising sun is so precious that it is practically the national dessert as well as what is eaten during the holidays and in particular for New Year’s Eve.
