Gaiwan in hand-decorated white porcelain, the perfect accessory for the tea ceremony. The gaiwan is a bowl used for tea infusion, equipped with a lid and a saucer.
Method of use:
remove the lid and put the tea leaves in the container, cover and leave in infusion. When ready, slightly move the lid to create a space to let the liquid out. Grasp the container with the thumb and middle and place the index on the space at the center of the lid, then lift and pour the tea into the pitcher or directly into the cups.
This type of accessory is very often used during the Chinese tea ceremony.
