The mini white tea and tangerine brick provides a single serving, about 5g-8g per piece. It combines the sparkling taste of tangerine with the delicacy of white tea, harvested in Fuding, Fujian Province. Enjoy a carefree tea break with the perfect amount of tea, every time.
Tasting – Sight and smell
The white tea and tangerine mini brick is quite compact with splendid colors: the red and orange of the tangerine peel intertwine with the shades of the white tea leaves, which range from green to coppery brown with silver buds. Once infused, the brick releases the aroma of tangerine zests and notes of young wood and flowers. As the infusions follow one another, vaguely balsamic hints emerge because of the essential oils released from the peel. The liqueur in the cup is deep golden yellow: the body is rather light and drinkable, soft and enveloping on the palate without astringency. A perfectly enjoyable tea suitable for any time of day.
Tasting Notes
GONG FU CHA
The first infusion of the mini white tea and tangerine brick is sweet and fruity: the tangerine notes are clearly perceived while not being intrusive. The sweetness of white tea is expressed in delicate hints of honey. With the second infusion, sweet notes are accentuated and clear hints of wild flowers and chamomile emerge. The freshness and slight acidity of tangerine always perfectly balance the sugary hints of white tea. Fruity hints, increasingly pronounced, then make the third and subsequent infusions more spirited; tangerine notes gradually become stronger, but always in balance with the delicate floral fragrance of the white tea.
WESTERN
The fruity and citrus notes that we find in the opening drinking liquor of this white tea and tangerine mini brick are what mainly characterizes this product. Notes of acacia honey and orange honey immediately follow, with an excellent balance between sweet and citrusy. Hints of young wood and flowers, particularly wildflowers, can also be detected later. There is also some camphor note on the close, softened by a long, sweet, citrusy persistence.

Infusion method
We strongly recommend infusing this white tea and tangerine mini brick in the traditional Chinese method (Gong Fu Cha) with a Gaiwan with a capacity of about 150 ml. By following this preparation, with 1 mini brick, multiple infusions can be made that are useful for best tasting all the flavors of the tea.
After a quick rinse of the leaves with water at a temperature of 90°C, an initial 15-second infusion can be made, and then, keeping the water at the same temperature, the product can continue to be exploited by adding more to water and increasing the previous infusion time by about 10 seconds (15-25-35…). This tea has a longevity of about 6 brewings.
For a more traditional preparation in the Western style, we recommend 1 mini brick in a 200-mL cup with water at 90°C for an infusion time of 3 minutes.
For a better tasting experience we suggest to filter the infuse as close as possible to the proper steeping time indication. The brewing time recommendations, however, can also be slightly adjust by your personal taste in order to obtain a strong or more delicate cup of tea.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
