Dehydrated Goji Berries are known by many names: wolfberry, Goi Qi Zi, Goji berry–so many names, for so many benefits. Goji berries are an essential element of traditional Chinese medicine, which have slowly been introduced (albeit marginally) in the Western diet. The interest in these fruits is not so much for their gastronomic value as for their beneficial power on health.
Today, Goji berries are used by a large portion of the population as a food supplement, functional food and phytotherapeutic principle, rich in “rare” mineral salts, vitamins, antioxidants and more.
Use
These goji berries are dehydrated, so we always recommend rehydrating them in water before using them in cooking or enjoying as a snack. In Asian cuisine, Goji berries are used to prepare soups or to season meat.
You can choose to use these berries as a natural supplement, therefore taken as a powder together with half a glass of natural mineral water, or as a delicious addition to yogurt, as an ingredient in bars or fruit juices.
