Ceramic Strainer Small Monaco

The Piccolo Monaco Ceramic Strainer is used to strain tea leaves during the tea ceremony or during the daily preparation of your cup of tea. The stand is shaped like a monk with open arms to let the filter be placed on the stand when not in use. Engraved inside the hat is the Chinese maxim“God rewards those who work hard.” The ceramic is very smooth and fine, and many fine holes have been drilled in the bottom of the strainer to help remove residual water. This accessory has a nice shape and is very stable, made to use the two parts separately: the monk serves both as a ceremonial accessory and as a filter/hat rest for drying after use.
