The organic green tea Kabusecha Orihime belongs to the category of teas which are covered before harvesting. This practice results in sweet flavors and a rich umami component in the cup. Our favorite Japanese style teapot, Kyusu, was created according to the ancient tradition of Ru Yao roasting porcelain, which forms a pattern on the surface that resembles cracked glass. Over time, during the preparation of the tea, a trace of tea leaves remains in these cracks, and these patterns become visible, adding a special beauty to such dishes.
