This Silver Ear Mushroom (also called Tremella Mushroom) is known as the “silver ear mushroom,” or as “snow mushroom” or “beauty mushroom.” This particular mushroom is one of the foods used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is associated with the stomach and lung meridians. It helps to cleanse the liver, pass dry coughs and is rich in vitamin D. It is also used for skin health, as its high collagen content makes it good for cosmetics and it is an excellent natural remedy for pimples.

How to prepare

INFUSION
For a sweet and beneficial infusion, bring 500ml water to a boil and steep 5 grams of the mushroom, 3 grams of goji berries and lemon juice to taste for 5 minutes.

SWEET AND SAVORY RECIPE

The mushroom should be soaked for 30 minutes so that it can open like a flower. It is then cut into small pieces and boiled in a saucepan for about 2 to 3 hours so that it becomes viscous.
