Acacia – is a type of monofloral honey, produced by bees living near acacia plants, is a sweet and very mild honey, liked by everyone. It is an excellent sweetener and can be a good substitute for refined white sugar.
Tropical Flowers – sourced mainly from the nectar of the Cuban royal palm, this honey has high nutritional value, and a delicious aroma. It is remembered for its elegant and rich tropical essence. Great for sweetening or for spreading. Rosemary – t
endentially it is very very dense, almost solid. Its aroma is not very pronounced; floral and herbal hints are discernible. It has antiseptic and balsamic properties.
Lavender – lavender honey is a rare delicacy made from the lavender plant; it is not very common, being rather complex to obtain, but it has extraordinary properties, as well as a particularly distinctive taste. Thyme –
is indicated as a powerful general antiseptic as well as a cough suppressant. It has a balsamic herbal taste.
Dates – is a sugar substitute produced from dates, the exotic fruit that is mainly produced in Israel and North Africa. Avocado – this is the name given to honey made from the very nectar of avocado flowers and is quite rare and valuable, not surprisingly sold in small jars. Orange Blossom – is a variety very rich in vitamins and possible antioxidant properties, which is often used in both cooking and cosmetics. Over time, the sweet taste can become more fruity to the point of resembling that of orange marmalade. Oak Honey-its flavor is strong, somewhat sweet and with salty notes, a very special honey that of oak or forest.
