What is Pitaya?
Pitaya, pitahaya or dragon fruit is the name of a fruit originating in Central and South America, produced by cactuses. It is a tropical fruit and has a very distinctive shape and colour. Like most sweet fruits, it is mostly eaten raw, although it can be used for more complex recipes including desserts and drinks.
