Purion Clay

Purion clay is a material created in Taiwan by skilled craftsmen. Rich in minerals, such as quartz, baked with reduced oxidation at high temperature. It has a stone-like granular structure and the tea infused in this type of material is smooth and the flavour is extraordinarily sweet and smooth.

The temperature used to fire the clay is higher than that used for pottery and porcelain. This particular process gives Purion its simple, unmistakable gravelly, porous appearance.
