Fo Shou literally translates to “Buddha’s Hand”. The name is earned from the appearance of its leaves, having large leaves with distinct veins, like palm lines. Which resemble the leaves of a Buddha’s hand fruit tree, also called Xi?ng Yuan. It was first tea cultivated in Taiwan originally from Yong Chun county of Fujian province. Fo Shou leaves are roasted in traditional way. Aroma is a rich blend of floral/fruity and a solid touch of nutty, and the taste is bold, heavy, long-lingering and energetic. Smartly done roasting brings wonderful complexity and mellowness.
